Any body who crossed that bridge in these conditions would have been heading for a funeral and any horse that went across must have been off its rocker.

It's very difficult to walk over -- a very steep arch.

I walked over it to take some pictures and found it quite strange, especially as there are no sides to hang on to :?

While we are on photo’s, wouldn't it be nice to view different images from time to time. Images that reflect Scotland’s huge diversity, remarkable history and astonishing beauty could bring a bit more vitality to the site. I’m not suggesting that it’s not a pretty dynamic site, but there’s always scope for making things better.
“This sceptre’d isle, this precious stone, this string of pearls cast into a silver sea” could do with a bit more promotion. Heaven forbid that you should use one of mine but this is just one of millions that might thrill and excite. Perhaps you could ask for contributions from the user group. www.geograph.org.uk/photo/886157
It’s just a thought.

Hi Malcom,

Your photo is beautiful and what I would call "postcard perfect" especially the boat captured in the background. Timing is everything!

Its a pretty neat suggestion that you are raising, but I'm not certain its as easy as it sounds to change the homepage picture from month to month without having to design a new layout each and every time and how much time that would involve? Maybe Frances, as current chair of TS could make a note and we'll get back to you.

Regards
Marilyn

Hi Malcolm:

A great picture and a great suggestion! However, like Marilyn, I'm not sure what all would be involved, but it is an idea to be considered by the Admin Group.

Storage, time and execution all play a part in such an undertaking. I only understand enough about computers to get myself into serious trouble, so once TSAG has had a ponder, we'll get back to you.
