hi
can anyone tell me on the records for Ellis Island what is a Associatied Passenger ?
and on the record i am looking at for 1923 it is type written and then in pen more numbers then a date in 1936 ,
anyone know what this means

Can you give us the details of the record you are looking at so we can go look at it ourselves? Otherwise it is difficult to know what the document looks like and try to interpret what the meaning might be.

What is James Stewarts year of birth? There are too many of them without this info

I think I have the same record here:

It is Line 6?
James, Stewart, father was James Stewart, going to Pawtucket
Relative in states is uncle William Jamieson, Pawtucket

Not seeing the bits you mentioned, so maybe I've got the wrong one?

Ah, see it now...in occupation and read column there are numbers. Where are you seeing the "associated passenger" bit?

right at the top , left side he is number 6 , a iron dresser ,

Lesley , view the ship and it tells you there on that also on this thingy i have saved , not sure how to upload these , its right on top gold line that gives name of ship and date
