Hi Maciell:

The 'Gallery" where we have posted our pictures and documents is not yet available, but will be renewed soon.

In the meantime, you can send me a copy using the e-mail box on the lower left hand of this message and I will have a look at it for you.

There may be some other volunteers to do likewise for you; if they pop up here, you could also send it to them.

Hi maceill
The word I would expect to see there is "present" meaning the informant was present at the time of the death - could that be the word?

Best wishes
Lesley

Thanks for the replies, the thing that is puzzling me is the informant
Mary Ward ms Boyle died 23rd March 1904, Mary Boyle wife of Peter Boyle died 28th July 1913. Could Peter and Mary have another daughter and called her Mary. the other thing is have i got the right death certificate for Mary Ward ,Mary Boyles step daughter. So many Marys in the family no wonder i get confused
thanks

This one took a bit of exercise

Don't blame you for cussing out this family!! I think I've sussed it though. I'm thinking the Mary Boyle who informed on her mother's DC in 1913 wisnae born a Boyle. I'm thinking she might have been this Mary here:

1876 BAGAN MARY F BLACKFRIARS GLASGOW CITY/LANARK 644/05 1065

The Mary Ann who wed Patrick Ward in 1898 Greenock was indeed a daughter of your Peter Boyle and his first wife Bridget and did indeed die in Maryhill in 1904 but I'm thinking she wasn't the Mary in the household on the 1891 census with them as shown below....I'm thinking maybe the Mary above might have been that one.

Name: Mary Boyle
Age: 15
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1876
Relationship: Daur (Daughter)
Father's Name: Peter
Mother's Name: Mary
Gender: Female
Where born: Glasgow, Lanarkshire
Registration Number: 644/7
Registration district: Blythswood
Civil parish: Glasgow St Enoch
County: Lanarkshire
Address: 47 Stockwell St
Occupation: Machinist
Household Members: Name Age
Peter Boyle 49
Mary Boyle 48
Mary Boyle 15
William James Boyle 14
John Lynch 40

What do you think??

Best wishes
Jean

This is the one ,when i looked at the census i just presumed mary was Peters daughter, she must have took the Boyle name when her mother married Peter Boyle.Another Mary for me to find now. Will it be easier in years to come to find the Apples, Brooklyns, Peaches i wonder.
once again many thanks
