Adam Thomson
My great-great grandfather was Adam Thomson, who was a Grocer Master in Peebles and was married to Agnes Tait in Stobo. They had a large family. His second wife was Ann Mitchell Thomson. He died in 1891.In particular I am looking for any information about his descendants or photographs (he was also a Councillor for Peebles Burgh and Secretary Treasurer for the Local "Ploughing Association")

You don't mention what research you've already done, and you're no doubt aware that you would have to research the children and continue on down researching their decendants then start looking through telephone directories and the likes to find living people. Unfortunately, while TalkingScot will help in any way they can with those long since deceased, we can't help with living people.
I assume you contacted the Burgh of Peebles and they couldn't help!
Hopefully you'll get lucky and someone will recognize your names and contact you by pm. Good luck in finding information and photos.
