hi
wondering if anyone can help find out who this mans parents were ,
just found an old bible 1917 with a cutting from a newspaper and i expect a relation , sorry for the mess before ,
seems George Harrison Stewart went to SA in 1896 as a young man , worked as a printer , gives details to jobs but he retired in 1946 , not sure what age , and he was 83 when he died , just cant seem to get a Charles H being born 1870s , all i have is Scotland , again this is something we havent heard of before , all new to us , and if my Granda put this in his Bible he died 1958

geez , kinda big Family eh , i see a Charles and i am now wondering if this is the one i have been searching for ,
someone has sent my Grandfather this cutting from a paper in south africa ,
its meant something to him for him to glue it into the last page of his bible ,
wondering can this be an Uncle ?
yet this makes the names given as his parents wrong , so not sure what to think , also when searching for births , cant recall these people , but then i was loonking for a couple with different names ,

an email just came in from South Africa , it seems this George possibly died 1956 ,as that was the last details of Estate papers , i have emailed Kimberly and they are going to check for a death , but thats mmaking him born around 1873 , and that doesnt tie in with this one nor one i found in 1867

do you think in 1851 the 12 year old Charles was the Charles who has drove me nuts for months ?
i know what he said to the man from the poor relief doesnt tie in , but i also remember what he put on his Daughters birth cert doesnt tie in either ,
wondering was he a bit of a Jackonory
