Crowdie &Cream

Post by joette » Sun Sep 13, 2009 7:55 pm

I came across this by accident. Dramatised version of Finlay J McDonald(yes I am sad enough to be looking him up on the Census) life on 1930 Scarista Outer Hebrides.
I am loving the Gaelic & recognising a word or two. There is some English & subtitles.

That's the one Alan. It's really funny, touching & a fair look at life in the Island community in the 1930's.
He was up & about on an aeroplane this week & the scenery was stunning.
I fair enjoyed it as my Granny would say.
