Ages ago I had contacted someone who did genealogy professionally on this site....is anyone still here that does? Think I am ready to have someone try to complete what I can't

Hi Karen,

Talkingscot stopped endorsing professional genealogists some time ago. When TS first started up, the income we received from advertising the genealogists helped to pay for the TS website.

We now get enough income through members purchasing tombola tickets each year. Truthfully the genealogists who advertised on the site got very little if any business from TS. Perhaps this is because we have so many talented members who love a challenge and help out whenever they can.......free of charge!!

By the what part of California do you live in. I'm in Palm Desert.

If anyone has a suggestion for Karen, please send her a private message and not post the information here on this thread.

Remember advertising for personal gain isn't allowed on TS.
