Value of french franc 1916

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I have a french franc note which belonged to my grandfather and I wondered how I would go about getting it valued(if any).

You could check your local library for a book on coins (they also include paper money). Your library would also be able to direct you to any local numismatists or societies that may be able to help you.

http://www.hunterian.gla.ac.uk/inc-cong ... matics.htm - provides a brief overview of some of Scotland's prime collections, where you might also find some information or sources.

Apart from that reputable coin dealers may be able to help.
