SP User Group

Post by wini » Fri Dec 18, 2009 11:31 am

I haven't had any time for research recently but tonight I thought I would look at the state of my Credits or lack of on SP. I still have more credits than I thought and still have quite a while to use them, thank goodness.
I quickly looked at the last UG meeting and saw it was Februaury 2008.
Is the group now defunct or did I mis xmas:roll: s something?

Thanks, Alan...some goodies to look forward to. :)

Since I received the email from FMP stating they would be bringing out Irish and Scottish records I wasn't too surprised to see Paragraph 8 of the Minutes with regards to a possible subscription service for SP....
ScotlandsPeople was a pay per view website and would remain so at least until September 2010. The new contract with brightsolid would allow for the introduction of a subscription service, and this would be a matter for discussion between GROS and BrightSolid.
Can't wait to see what happens and also what Irish and Scottish records will be on FMP.

Regards,
Anne H
