Duncan McIntyre and Sarah McCallum

Death certificate for Archibald McIntyre (born c.1814 in Kilmartin Argyll/died 1870 in Ardrishaig, Lochgilphead, Argyll) shows his parents as Duncan McIntyre (Gamekeeper) and Sarah McCallum. Can't find anything else on this couple. Have found four children born to a Duncan McIntyre/Sarah McCallum but they were in Glasgow (2 Mary's, a John and a Duncan all born between 1792-1801 but no Archibald). Don't think this can be them. Any ideas on tracking down Duncan and Sarah?

As you are replying on the death informant, there may be a few "variables"!
A complete stab in the dark, but could this chap be likely? On IGI (extract)

Birth: 01 MAR 1810 Kilninver And Kilmelford, Argyll, Scotland
Parents:
Father: DONALD MCINTYRE
Mother: CHIRSTY MCCALLUM

They also appear to have had a Isabella, Donald, Mary, Catherine and Rachel between 1797 - 1810 - do these names seem familiar?
Kilninver itself is about 20 miles from Kilmartin as places on the map, BUT the parishes are next door to each other, see:

Hi Lesley: Thanks for your help. I don't think this is the right couple though. I have Archibald on three censuses and his age is pretty consistent, i.e. 1841 - 27, 1851 - 36 and 1861- 47, so an 1810 birth seems a bit early. The informant on his DC was his son Archibald. He did have a daughter Isabella but the other names you mention don't seem to fit this family. Also his first son was Duncan (presumably after his father)- no Donalds. Other children's names were Lilias, Janet, John, Archibald, Alexander, Colin and George.

I'll keep plugging away.
