Haggis Banned?

Post by scooter » Mon Jan 25, 2010 9:29 am

I had no idea that our American cousins were prohibited from tasting Scotland's 'finest'!

We're big fans down here south of the border, the kids love it, although I wish I'd had a camera when we dished up a plate for the in-laws (from Derbyshire and strictly meat and two veg people). :D

Cheers!

Hi Scott,

We in America have always been able to get haggis. Although we can't get it directly from Scotland, we have many Scottish butchers here in the states who make it.

Any Americans looking for good haggis can get it here. They will ship it frozen directly to you.

  Should read the link before I post
I have so many friends/rellies in US/Canada who long for the above mentioned & other treats such as Cadburys(maybe closer than you think if Kraft get their way),Irn-Bru(yeuchhhhh),crisps & Ribena to name a few.
Maybe a buisness opportunity for the brave-hearted??

Sounds as if sales are doing well in the UK without the US market!
