name change

hi talking scots i have a problem with a name change,first name was Angus Sinclair born Comrie 1725 his parents where John Sinclair and Janet Murray but later his name seems to change to Aenaes Sinclair who married a Janet Brown who was born 1722 they had a son Mungo born 1768 in monzievaird and strowan he also it seems married a janet Buchanan and also a flora camron in Perth 1752 and it says he was a soldier. There is a reference to a Aenaes Sinclair during the jacobite rebellion Strathearn 45 which makes a reference to a Aenaes Sinclair Comrie Pressed by the rebels at home is this maybe why he changed his name because he was fighting for Bonnie Prince Charlie or am i barking up the wrong tree i would be most greatful if someone could please help also the john Sinclair his father i am having difficulty in locating a birth or death for him i have i think for a birth for her 1694 comrie parents hendry murray and Christian Drummond thank you sinclair
