BBC Scotland – A History of Scotland – on YouTube.
The BBC Scotland television series, A history of Scotland, can be watched on YouTube, and will probably be of interest to those who haven’t seen it before or who want to watch a particular episode again. The quality is good enough to watch full screen.
It was screened on Television in two series, each of five episodes. The YouTube version has each episode broken up into six ten minute segments. It’s fairly easy to watch the segments in correct order but not so easy to find the start of each episode or series. I’ve set out the links to each segment hereunder.

Thank you so much for posting this. I watched 2 episodes and ordered the copies from Amazon. I hope that I ordered all of the episodes. There are supposed to be 4 dvds.
I am almost ashamed to say this but as much as I love history, I really don't know that much about the history of Scotland. As far as I know I don't have any English in my blood but I do know a lot about the history of England. The fault isn't mine alone, there are not that many good books around, except for Mary, Queen of Scots, about Scottish history.
