Having inherited a ton of unmarked photographs from my Dads cousin who died aged 87 with no kids. His father collected these family shots yet I am finding it difficult to place who exactly or of what they are ..
I have written because someone on here was looking for info on a photographer with 'ER' the only part of the name legible. I am pretty sure the photographer is HUBER of glasgow... I have found many old photos in my inherited collection from them. But I have lost the thread of the convo whilst I had to register and wait....
I also have a picture which I am sure is from the Glasgow tut! tut! sunday rally where the UK govt sent up armoured tanks to attack the rally.
if you could point me to an expert for Identification I would be most grateful

Hi Eddi, and a warm welcome to TalkingScot!
I believe the thread you had originally spotted was Scottish People - Photographer in Jamaica Street viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4976
There are a few references there to sources of information on identifying Scottish Photographers, some specifically in Glasgow.
Additionally, http://www.mitchelllibrary.org/virtualmitchell/ may be of help in identifying some locations. If a great number of the photographs are professional ones of locations and events, the library may have some already, or be interested in looking at your copies. Their home page gives you contact information.
There is a search option at the top right corner of the page, below the light blue banner that allows you to search by key words, which may be of help when you wish to backtrack or locate items of interest.
Hope this is helpful,
Frances
