Know the feeling Russell. I know a set of twins that will be doing the proverbial spin in their graves over this one. One of those twins was my Mother!

Hi there Russell,There's an article in todays Paisley Express and also a lovely picture of Mount Zion Church. Its a lovely old pic with boys,girls and houseparents standing outside.
It's yrs ago since we used to drive by Quarriers on a Sunday run to the coast.

Well I hope that some of them sweeping up are descendants of the children who lived there!
It's all about money & making a fast buck these days & be dammed with our heritage! These children had little to call their "own" but at least they could say that their "home" was still there & being put to good use
