Hi Andrew

I had noticed but I tactfully refrained from making any comments.

The urge is irresistible though!

Even when I'm taking a note of something I automatically pick up a pencil :(

Hope your holiday(s) - Ina's included, are as good as you had hoped.
think I'll go to the Antarctic its cooler there.

Oh mammy daddy, it's gettin better or worse
Take yer pick
Seein as hoo this is a geneallloggicallythingy DG, wid that bae that the famous Dutchman Hertz van Rental, but

Ah'm gled Admin is jinin' in, or we wid be excuminikatit furr aw this dross,
Whit we need oan here is a "Straight man", furr too mony comedians oan TS.
Hertz van Rental, indeed
Will need tae think aboot a riposte oan that.
As an aside to all this jocularity.
We collect (the brither and me) all old Scottish music hall items.
We were down in Nottingham last month and purchased some Charlie Naughton, hand written scriptbooks.
These three books were not cheap and ther wiz little change out of £750, but we did get a bowler hat flung in.
Ma Brither, pit intae practice one of the skits.
I had asked him to give me a call at ten am, as we were going through to Auld Reekie for a meeting

The phone goes at eight forty five.

Adam: "Ye tellt me ye waanted a call at ten".
Davie: "Whitt! it's ony quarter tae nine"
Adam: "Aye ,ah only called tae tell ye ye hidd another hour an' a quarter tae lie in yer kip"

And we wonder how Scottish Music Hall died.
