I second all of the above and will continue to watch out for your posts. You are the nearest thing we have nowadays to our dear 'auld Moonwatcher' who used to make me greet every Sunday wae tears eh laughter or tears eh sorrow. We have a "saying" here in the US and its "putting your foot in your mouth" ya don't mean too, but somehow it happens? Everyone seems to suffer from it sooner or later. Ya seem like a fine gentlemen, so can we all just get beyond this and carry on?

I hope yae don't mind, but I printed aw yer posts. Cyber Seance, Glesca Patter and Echo's. I have jus re-read Echo 6 - Incident at Abergaldie Rd, and have once again been in fits. I regularly have a wee night tae masel reading these and they cheer an ex-pat up no end.

I found an explanation for DAVIE and us Glaswegians.
My cousin sent me a book when he was in Glasgow recently.
"The Glasgow Visitor Guide" by Colin Baxter.

It states in it quote "unlike the Milanesi, most Glaswegians seem genetically incapable of taking themselves too seriously"

so blame it on the genes
