Tom Weir has sadly passed away.
"Weirs Way" must be one of the finest programs to come out of Scotland.

Hi Jim, he brought Scottish walks, climbs and beautiful scenery to us,that some of us may not otherwise be aware of.We could sit in our cosy wee houses and enjoy the views, while he did all the hard work.
Thanks Tom for making us aware of the Great Outdoors!
Living on the edge of Gleniffer Braes, there's nothing better than going up to the carpark in the sky(as we call Robertson Park)And just sitting there enjoying the panoramic view.
