Thank you for helping

Hi All,
Can I just say thank you to every one who has helped me when I have got stuck with people/places.
I had a really great time in Scotland, and due to people helping me with where to go for things, I found that my father had three brothers and a sister that even he didnt know about.
It felt great to walk around Glasgow in the places that my relies have walked and found some addresses that they lived at, amazing. Only problem with Glasgow is the one way system as it took two hours to get to the hotel. Found on the third call to hotel I was outside but to get to park my car I had to go back over one bridge to come back on myself. He He.
In Perth every one really great as we got loads of help from the Bell Library and then found my GGG grandfather in one of their many books they gave us on censuses.
Also didnt realise that the Registry office could look up my fathers siblings and I have paid for that to be done.
Anniemack If you read this I gave a wave as I went through Auchterarder both on the way and back.
I am coming back to Scotland next year and going to book into Park Circus as still looking for a few people.
Many Thanks everyone.
Regards
Anne. .

Hi Catriona, and thank you.
I liked the fact that the scottish people are really friendly and helpful, as are people on this site. Which I always recommend to people researching in Scotland.
I am already looking forward to next year as is my 10 year old daughter who absolutely loved Scotland.
Regards
Anne.
