Nice one Davie! It's a bit like old saying in Edinburgh when a visitor arrives:- you'll have had your tea??
Lunch on Friday was relly great - nice to meet some other faces.

Union Street still looks as busy as it did in the second photo. You rarely see it so quiet in the top one. Even early in the morning as students are staggering home. lol

Hi
Put another one from Glasgow in the Gallery and a Burns wan.
Not in the right place though.
Also added an old clipping on the 1861 census.

I was wondering if this was an early environmental movement.
I luv punters oan here wey a sense of humour. (and we know how tae spell it}
Ur ye sure yer no frae Fourecks, Sheila?
You will notice that the Burns PC (that is Post Card, no Politically Correct) has not been downloaded fur yer perusal from the Gallery.
It was not approved by the admin on TS.

Hello Davie,
I personally did not find your postcard offensive, but other PC people might have. So I would suggest that you send anyone interested a PM and a copy of the card.
Regards
Marilyn
P.S. Please keep uploading the cards, they are fantastic to look at!
