Ah’ll make an unreserved apology tae oanywan that ah huv sair affrontit’, wey ma posts oan Oor Wini’s topic o’ “Scottish Values”.
This wiz never ma intention, and ah appreciate some folk dinnie unnerstaun ma Glesga patter.
In seriousness, I would not intentionally offend anyone.
However, which is similar to but, or if you live in Newting Mearns, or Milngavie, “by the way”.
I was a tad disappointed with Admin on here, giving me a warning on my use of bad language, racist, sexist and anti Colonial Scottish remarks I made.
I will defend any post I have made on this board, and I have added over 300.
By Faith I am a Christian, and have attended services all over the world.
Last week, In York, thought I would take in a service at the Minster, but decided it wisnae for me.
Was very fortunate to attend All Saint’s Pavement Church.
Was made very welcome, and met the Constable, who kindly gave me a wee bit history on his “mace” which was used in the time of Charles II.
I asked jokingly if it was up for sale?
He said “You do not have enough money”
Nae herm in askin’
The service was guid and the parishioners really friendly.
I have been asked back.
Wunner if the same is to be said oan TS.
I do not “Swear” in my normal conversation, but (ther’s yon wee word creepin’ in again) will use a profanity to put a point across.
I will keep posting on here, because the Board is called Talking Scot.
I am wannie o thae Scots, that actually chooses tae live in the Country, an no wan that thinks it is Brigadoon!
Diz the Truth upset oanywan?
Or is this “Strike Two”
Keep yer Faith, whitever wan it is.
Davie
Ah'm really sorry, and Ah'll no dae it again

Davie:
I'll continue to read, enjoy and learn from you as well.
I think that you've been gallant enough to have apologized for any offence (twice now, for one posting).
The closing paragraph on the home page says "This site is moderated by common sense and good Scots manners".
"Common sense" tells me this matter has been addressed on behalf of those who took any offence, and "good Scots manners" dictates that we accept the apologies, and, to use an old term 'say nae mair'.
