Glesca Patter 9
Well, I'm afraid Patter 9 is no more, it's deceased, gone, past tense, no longer of this world. I was careless when downloading to disk some time ago and unwittingly saved Patter 8 twice!
BUT – there is a place where it may be found. A place not of this world. A place none dare approach. A genealogical netherworld. I refer to that forbidden place who's name is spoken only in whispers. So, who dares approach the gates of SP and, like Frodo and Sam on the slopes of Mount Doom, do the deed?
Dont look at me, Ah'm too feart!
Bob.

well I had a wee go at finding it but failed ,
but then I'm no computer expert so over to you lads....
I went to web.archive.org and put www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/phpBB/index.php into the 'wayback' machine !
and got
http://web.archive.org/web/20030603180902/
http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/phpBB/index.php
The index page of the old SPDG, but canny get any further.
Maybe if somebody has the real page address for the missing Patter
or could work it out ? they could get their mitts on it.

Re: Glesca Patter 9
Now, just hang on a minute there, Our Bob. As you know, I am a HUGE fan of your literary talents - the one that named you "Poet Lariat", no less, and I'm not sure if I printed off every single episode of the Patter, but I've found #1 and #26 and some others in between. Unfortunately, my search was interrupted by last minute shopping (husband's!) and I will let you know if #9 turns up.Moonwatcher wrote:Glesca Patter 9

I kept meaning to put them in a binder . . . maybe I did . . .

Glesca Patter #9
Search Update:
The binder's getting pretty full, but still no sign of #9.
Moonwatcher: while you're waiting, have you checked out the discussion in the Computer Shop forum about backing up your files ?

I am sorry to report that I do not have a copy of Glesca Patter #9.
