Hi Tracey,
The only divide sign on the keyboard is the oblique (or slash) /.
To find a true divide sign, you need to go to the character set Symbol.
Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Character Map
In the box at the top, select Symbol.
If the scroll bar is at the top, the divide sign should be just right of centre in the third row from the bottom. From there, click on it, select it and copy it to use in the like of Microsoft Word.
It will not show on the TalkingScot forum as the charater set cannot be changed to symbol (unless anyone has found a method to do so).
All the best,
AndrewP

Hello
I have a Mac, so this might not work for everyone, but it might.
While holding down your alt or option key, start hitting other keys,
and you will find all kinds of interesting symbols and alternate
alphabets.
On my keybord, the divide sign is the question mark while holding donw the alt key.
Have some fun with it!!
