Help Requested - Browser Problem

My laptop has Explorer 11 installed which, when opened, displays two tabs, each the same as the other . When I select one tab to close, BOTH close.

Can anyone suggest a fix for this annoying glitch?

Try googling your error - lots of suggestions appear. One that may be applicable - check in the tools/internet options/home page to see if the home page is listed twice.

Had previously actioned both your suggestions trish1 to no avail. This "gremlin" is giving me the pip!

Understand how you feel - I had a problem with IE not opening links - tried everything mention on google to no avail. Started using firefox. Still using it. Hope someone else has a fix for you.
