Making the Most of TalkingScot

TalkingScot is a public forum. If you wish to post, you must become a member. If you wish just to browse please look around and visit often.

Queries posted in the forums will receive the attention of our entire readership but specifically will be attended by our resident genealogy experts as well. We have a solid reputation for helping find the missing piece and breaking through your brick walls. It would be our pleasure to read your postings and also invite you to respond in areas you may have expertise in.

If information is of a confidential nature for an intended party, by all means send it via PM or email.

The Talking Scot Forum is available FREE of charge to everyone. You may read messages in the public area of the forum without registering. However, in order to view all areas of the forum, post a new message or reply to an existing message, you must first register as a member. Registration is free.

You will be asked to provide a user name and a password. You can choose any user name you like as long as it is not already in use by another member. You will also have to supply a valid e-mail address. Once your membership has been approved, a registration confirmation email will be sent to the e-mail address you supplied. Click on the link in that e-mail message, log in with the usename and password you supplied and you will will have access to all public and member-only areas of the forum.

You will then be able to post new topics and reply to all existing topics.
