I would like to devote more time on good sites but I'm afraid work prevents me at the moment.
Hi dunli,

Tell us all about it, how dare work get in the way of our research. But it does sometimes. Take your time, there are lots of folk here to help all times of the day.

Nice to meet you again Nancy, this time in different surroundings and thanks for recommending this site. It's very tempting to spend too much time on this site going through the postings and invaluable information.

I'll also have to return to Paisley.org soon. The Reverend Glen Glenburn is visiting tonight and I'm sure he will have a tale or two to tell.

Catch up with you later,

Dunli

Hello Marilyn,

Work is beginning to interfere with my life! Maybe the time has come to do just what I want to do.

Meanwhile, I'll take your sound advice and take my time.

It will not be long until I make my 10th posting!!!

Take care,

Dunli

I came across your site, on Google looking for Scots forums. And was very pleased to find yours.
Keep up the good work.

I had no idea that you existed until a distant rellie from California contacted me through Genes Reunited and in the course of our e-mails she mentioned your site. Funny old world.

am i the first to mention this...

never heard of TalkingScot until the David Mitchell 'who do you think you are' (repeated BBC2 Scot Monday 10th 7pm) - one advantage of watching on i-player, could pause and look closley when he typed in a question on the internet.

Hi Easty

Yup! Well you're the first to post that you've joined as a direct result of the program. There are certainly a good few others who must have joined following the fleeting view of TS in the program as we've definately had an increase in the number of folk signing up in the last few days.

Anyway, now you are here, welcome to Talking Scot! :D

Best wishes
Lesley
