Where did you hear of TalkingScot? (2011)

Post by AndrewP » Sat Jan 08, 2011 1:49 pm

Here at TalkingScot it is great to see so many new members joining up. We'd love to know how you found us. That can help us target future advertising more effectively.

We ask the same question each year! (a bit late this year - but not as late as last year) . It is always interesting to find out where in the world our TalkingScot members come from and how they heard about us.

All the best,

AndrewP

Like a few others I was searching on google and found this site. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but going by the comments I think I'm going to enjoy it.

Hello Irene and welcome to [talkingscot]

We're glad you found us and look forward to untangling the branches of your family tree (or breaking down the brick walls, if you prefer that image!)

All the best,
Sarah

As per Irene's comment, I was researching the family tree via Google and came across your site. I am currently inactive waiting to be "let loose" - hope it happens soon as I have some valuable information I can share with some new found relatives who are already members; they just don't know about the colonials yet!!

Regards

Rex

I have been a member previously, and renewed (I couldn't remember my old logon or password) recently after getting more info on my Scots relatives to follow up. I think I originally heard about talkingscot via the scotlands people site.

I was searching a forum for Scottish links as I want sure if the site was just for England and the rest of UK when I found a post someone on Brit Gen recommended Talking Scot to another member so I PM her asking for the link to which she replied straight away.
