Hi Maggie,
I just looked it up on 'Ancestry 1901 England Census' and there he was. It is in the Civil Parish of York - Ecclesiastical Parish of St. Lawrence - Page 1 - Folio 43.
I also noticed when I looked again that there were more siblings on the following page. Which gave us Mary Ann, Clara, Alfred, Martha and Albert, all of working age and presumably, bringing in a wage.
