Hi:)
I have a couple Albert Mitchell Lennox 1899-<after 1959> & his wife Ida Kathleen Lennox (nee Russell). I had been told by a relative of Ida's that they both died in East London, South Africa. However, I see on my 'guest' subscription to Ancestry that someone has them as having died in England and provides dates of death Dec. <both dates after 1959> respectively. Would GRO possibly have death records for them; as I've een hitting walls in South Africa.

Hello Dennis,
You’ll find the more recent death indexes here. http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/DB.aspx?dbid=7579
If they died after 1970, or thereabouts, the index may show full date of birth. That should give you a good idea of whether the entries fit your family members.
By checking births on Ancestry or FreeBMD you may eliminate any doubtful possibilities. http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl
