Iam looking for any info on the above Thomas Stevely 1825 Parents, Thomas married Married Mary Jane Spence in or around Ballymena Antrim Area, Thomas,s siblings were james 1813, david 1819, joseph 1808,
I need to find who the parents where any info would be a great help.

Is this by any chance brother James, now come to Scotland? If so, and if he died in Scotland, then his death certificate should give the parents' names. Or have you already gone this route?

Hi Sarah,
Yes that is our James- Jame,s parents where Hugh Stevely Sarah Campbell a few weeks ago i recived a email saying that Thomas Stevely,s parents where Hugh Stevely and Sarah Campbell and Thomas had other siblings.

James Stevely was my G.G.Grandfather we always thought James was the only child we where looking down the line to see if there was a Hugh first born but now looks like it could be Joseph and Hugh Stevely,s father could be called Joseph but i dont have any Proof or Documents on where this info was sourced so i keep looking and waiting.

Hi Hugh,

From the information given above, the following documents can be found on ScotlandsPeople.

• James's (junior) 1907 death - giving parents' names (inc. mother's maiden surname)
• Mary's 1861 death - parents' names given by widower James
• James's 1888 death - parents names not known to informant (son, William); age at death wrong? (too young by more than 10 years?)
• James's 1865 re-marriage - giving his parents' names

Don't know whether this helps or not but Thomas and Mary Jane had a daughter in 1864 called Sarah -

Thanks for your reply and info i have seen it ,also i have the Thomas Stevely Mary Jane Spence famliy tree to check now from a family member i only need now who where Thomas,s parents i have been told my G.G.G Grandfather Hugh Stevely is but i dont have any Proof or Documents so i keep looking.
