Thoroughly enjoyed looking at the Photographs, I must be getting old, I recognised quite a few of them, especially Charing X I was guessing where they were before the name came up, thanks for the memories.

The “Crosshill Boating Pond” (Looks like Q.P. on Pollockshaws Road)
I have a niece who has a flat facing it, though “eh dahn’t think that the Gel will like to know she lives in Croashill”
(ah’m no verrry guid at a Kelvinside accent)
And as an aside tae this Merlot.

However, at the moment I am in the process of transferring several old Family Video’s onto DVD.

Hi Rosie K.
I also love the Charing X picture. I used to work in an office directly across from Charing X Mansions and had a cracking view of all the buildings round about (I like old buildings). What a shame we lost the building in the left of the picture to make way for the motorway.
