These pics are great and ther’ wiz a few I had never seen afore.
The most intriguing one of all is Number 30 on the list.
The one with the 8 postcards.
The “Crosshill Boating Pond” (Looks like Q.P. on Pollockshaws Road)
I have a niece who has a flat facing it, though “eh dahn’t think that the Gel will like to know she lives in Croashill”
(ah’m no verrry guid at a Kelvinside accent)
And as an aside tae this Merlot.
Whit pert o’ the toon ur ye frae?
Ah willnie ask whit Skool.
However, at the moment I am in the process of transferring several old Family Video’s onto DVD.
Like the Glasgow Eskimo Concert frae 1994

Hi Rosie K.
I also love the Charing X picture. I used to work in an office directly across from Charing X Mansions and had a cracking view of all the buildings round about (I like old buildings). What a shame we lost the building in the left of the picture to make way for the motorway.
