Where is Knox, Arbirlot?

Where is Knox, Arbirlot?
One of my ancestors is noted as being born in Knox, Arbirlot. I can find Arbirlot but not Knox - only a place called Easter Knox. I'm hoping somebody familiar with the area might be able to clarify the Knox reference. Thanks for any help.

On the NLS digital map library, there are many 19th century maps showing Easter and Wester Knox. I found only one that showed Knox (appears to cover the same area as Easter and Wester Knox).
