Jon

I'd be near certain that somewhere out there on the WWW there's a discussion group or "old comrades" type site for former members of the Royal Army Service Corp/Royal Corp of Transport.

Go Googling

Hi

Just joined the forum and noticed this post

221 Sqn used to be at Yorkhill Glasgow and later moved to Polmadie in Glasgow - the initial intention was this location would allow the unit to move as required onto a main artery motorway (M8) if they required to deploy to a situation - they made a slight error because with the construction of the new M74 extension it was near the new extension and the building was knocked down and the unit moved into Clydesmill Industrial Estate Carmyle near Cambuslang Glasgow few years ago and that is where they operate from now.

They have a website at

http://www.freewebs.com/221rlc/thesquadronhistory.htm

You probably have got all the info you needed already but this might help
