Success - but not with the family tree.
Just wanted to say a public "thank you" to Andrew Paterson of the TalkingScot Admin Group.
My pc crashed and I lost everything. Just got it back yesterday and have been trying to get into the Forum since then. Gave up in the end and emailed the Admin Group. Andrew gave me some details I needed and reminded me that the pc was a machine at the end of the day. I'm not sure if he waved a magic wand or if it was the threats I was mumbling...... One of them worked!!
Now to catch up on things that have been going on while I have been away.
Andrew, thanks again. My days are not the same unless I get my daily fix.
Regards
Christine

Re: Different kind of success
Hi Christine,
(To quote W C Fields) "If at first you don't succeed, then try try again". So you did, and the answer was out there.
At work, my boss believes that all is solved by "swish and flick". It worked for Harry Potter.
All the best,
AndrewP
