Can anyone tell me where i could get records for people admitted to this hospital, i am looking for a Grace Rutherford who died there in 1937.

Yes try Lothian Health Service Archive at http://www.lhsa.lib.ed.ac.uk .
Their e-mail islhsa@ed.ac.uk .

If there are any records for this period then they are the folks who would have them.
Be specific when you contact them give dates of admission/discharge-even approx,home address,names-maiden too if known. As much as you know so that they can identify the person.

On this you may be able to locate whether Lothian hold any records for the Hospital in that period.
