Peesweep Sanitorium - Lapwing Lodge

Post by Cailin » Thu Jan 13, 2011 12:38 pm

I am looking to try to contact anyone who may be able to give me an insite into Peesweep while it was operating as a TB sanitorium.
This year we are celebrating 100 years since the building was first opened and I'd love to have some information on what it was like to work or be treated here.

Any information anyone has on this would be much appreciated,
Thanks.

Hi Cailin, and a Warm Welcome to TalkingScot!

Although there may be some who will be able to give you first-hand experiences, there may also be some written testamonials at the Mitchell or AskScotland ....
