Glasgow Valuation Rolls.....

Post by CathieL » Wed Oct 19, 2005 1:16 am

I have (maybe) a poorhouse application for my elusive Helen Kelly in 1914. The address given is 40 Rose Street. I cannot find it in the valuation rolls and I wonder if some one else could have a look in case my weary eyes have missed something. When I looked 42 came after 38 :?. It is bad enough I can't find her now I can't find the house she was supposedly living in :!:
Thanks
Cathie

I had a look through them too and unfortnately could not see a number 40 either. I've had the same problem myself in the past with a few of the streets.

Thanks for looking Rab, I just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed it.
