Hi Heather,

You need to contact Fife Council Archives to find out which records related to the Dunfermline Poorhouse still exist. There is an online catalogue at: http://www.fifedirect.org.uk/atoz/index ... 3F14B400E1 however you won't find the records themselves online. From my experience, the archivist, Andrew Dowsey is very helpful and you can make an appointment to view the records, or as I had to do, hire someone to take a look for you. I was interested in the Kirkcaldy Combination Poorhouse, and although the poorhouse records didn't survive, there were a number of references to my GGGG Grandmother in the minute books.

Hope this helps,

Scott
