I got so excited when I first saw your post, it isnt my Flora, at least on first look, however, her maiden name WAS McClellan, and the rest of the names certainly fit into the naming pattern for the McM's. I'm sure they fit into the mix somewhere.
Im really hoping to get ahold of her poorhouse application, hopefully I can then locate some of her children, especially Aelxander McMenemy.

Where did you find the above information?

The lady Miss Poohs found on the 1881 census born in Islay was married to John McMenemy and her maiden name was McKay. I suspect this is the one you found on the 1901 census.

That info was found on the 1901 census, you're correct, HOWEVER. now have found that my Flora actually remarried a chap named Broadhurst. But, I would still be interested in the other Flora, as I know she too is a rellie, so Miss P if you should go to the Mitchell and have time to peek I would really appreciate it.
