Just realised I've never asked you what my nom de plume should be? I'm very flattered that you thought one up for me. Where travel is concerned, yes I am going to Baltimore in the fall (have to get the lingo right) but no I'm not going to Israel.

I'm going on to Sri Lanka after the States. Do you think that would be a good place for a story??

The tales that I could tell, and the hints that I could give you on the seminal influences of Scots in the development of the tea industry in Ceylon/Sri Lanka, - shurely (sorry !! - 007 effect

), - some family connection thereby, or, perchance, as a local District Officer in the administration of the British Empire, - some might argue that it should have been termed the "Scottish" Empire in relation to the predominance of Scots in terms of its administration

Hi Catriona

Who knows!! There is something brewing at the moment but it's only brewing in the ole brain. Ole brain a bit creaky at the moment due to numerous crises at work etc.
