Bishopbriggs grave
My great grandma Annie Jackson (nee Boyle) died in 1900 in Bishopbriggs aged 39. She was Catholic. Just wondering which cemetery she would have been buried.

If you know the date or at least month that she died then you could try searching the British Newspaper Archive for a funeral notice, that would give the relevant details.
Another route would be to look at some of the sites that have surveyed cemeteries like 'Find a grave' or Billions of graves.
Have a look too at old maps of the area to see where she lived and where the nearest cemetery was and where her nearest church would have been. The National Library of Scotland has a terrific maps resource.

Hi Wilma
Thanks for your reply. The nearest cemetery is Cadder. I have searched find a grave but there is nothing. I will do as you suggest and look through the death notices. Thanks for your help.
