Clicking:
http://www.talkingscot.com/gallery/disp ... =72&pos=41

gets the Word document you posted AnneH.

That's the same link as in the 3rd post down on this thread.

Hi Sarah,

If you click on the link I put in and the link Wilma put in both open the correct document. :D

The link you put in is the first image you saw when you opened the Gallery and that was the last image I put in for Hamilton/Allan marriage. You have to go down to the bottom of the page and click on page 5 where the latest Word doc ended up....click on that and that is the link that my post refers to.

Sorry for the confusion.

Regards,
Anne H

Hi Anne & Sarah,

If quoting an address in the Gallery, don't use the one in the address bar of your internet browser program. That address is not fixed. Different people can get different results for that address. Further down the page you should find the fixed address in a box marked URL.

For this one:
http://talkingscot.com/gallery/displayi ... ?pos=-1816

All the best,

AndrewP

Maybe when you click, but not when I click on them... So I have to do something to reset the order, I think...

Sarah

P.S. Ah, I see that Andrew has saved the day :D I knew there was a simple answer that I was not seeing!

Thanks for that! I've now changed my link to the correct one. :)

Sorry about that Sarah...at least now we both know what to do.

Following up on my previous posts…the website is now up and running!

Take a look… http://www.memento-mori.co.uk/ the indices are online. :D

What a fantastic resource to have at your fingertips! This is more than I imagined it would be. Having the indices online as well as being able to order the photographs or CD’s will be a tremendous aid for those of us with relatives buried in any of the cemeteries that have been surveyed. What more could you ask? :)

I’m off to further investigate…lots to look at! Enjoy.

Anne H

Hi David,

I couldn't agree more...it certainly is a fantastic resource - and all for free. A labour of love has definitely gone into putting it together.

I was up until 4:00 A.M. this morning going through Denny Cemetery...didn't even know I had anyone there, but I do now. :D Not only did I find the burial information for several different families, but it also saved me a lot of money pulling the correct BMD's from SP instead of pulling the wrong certificates, not to mention the added bonus of now knowing of additional family members that I can't get online because of date restrictions.

I'm going through every cemetery to see what I can find! :D

Happy hunting!

Regards,
Anne H
