I got the information from Dumfries Library. Some IGI and some Parish Records.

Just because I did not find any grave stones in Penpont does not mean they are not there. I only checked the cemetery index of MIs. It may be that there is no stone. If you eventually find a rough date I will try the burial records which are on Michro fiche. They are too difficult to research if you don't have a rough idea of a date and parish.
