Firstly welcome To Talking Scot [scotland-flag]

There does appear to be a book on MI's for Clackmannanshire, according to the Central Scotland Family History Society

http://www.csfhs.org.uk/library%20list.htm

I would imagine the libraries in the area would have a reference copy if you live nearby.

Hello,
I have the Clackmannanshire pre 1855 MIs. The Alloa Chuchyard index shows 6 entries for Watson and the Alloa Cemetery index has 3.
Regards,
Gina

Hi Gina, thanks for the reply,I'm going to go over to Alloa and see what I can find there,I believe they may be ancestors of mine.I have the 1841 census with a George Watson married to a Janet Pratice and I think he was my great great great great grandfather. :)

Hi GordonW. I am in NZ, and by the look of your messages you are perhaps USA ? Anyway I am researching my Scottish family...
My MOTHER was Martha Mary Watson Hair.b/1893 Glasgow. Her parents were Thomas Campbell b/1837 Lanark Scot. and Beatrice McCrie Muir b/1836 Lanark Scot. Back further I have a James Muir married Nov 4th 1834, (D/ March 1873), to a Mary Watson, but have no details on her... Could this tie in with any of yours ? If so I would welcome anything you have. :)

Hi Robbie, sorry its taken so long to get back to you,I'm not in the U.S( I wish),I'm in Scotland.I havent found any Glasgow connections in my family as yet, most seem to have come from Alloa and then moved to Carronshore near Falkirk ,if I get a connection I'll let you know.Regards Gordon

Thank you Gordyw, I would appreciate that, as I have nothing on them at all other than what I told you.
