Hello

My great,great-grandfather Walter Culley Madge died in Edinburgh, 9th June 1920 at Brights Crescent.

If there is anyone in the area of Newington Cemetery who could locate his grave and send a digital pic to me I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks in advance,

Colin Madge

Hi Colin
..and welcome to Talking Scot :D

Do you have a reference for the position of the grave? Many of the Edinburgh cemeteries are huge and to try to find a grave without a reference could take a lifetime!

I suggest you contact Morton Hall Cemetery & Crematorium at Howden Hall Road, Edinburgh, EH16 6TX, 0131-664 4314 to see if they have a record of the burial and can perhaps provide a reference for the lair.

Best wishes
Lesley
