Are my ancestors in St. Patricks Cemetery?.....

Post by Matthew Reay » Mon Aug 07, 2006 10:58 am

My g g granny, Mary Ann Hughes (other names McDonald, maiden name Owens) died on 8/2 1941, at 2 Nimmo Rows, New Stevenston. Her husbands were Francis McDonald and Michael Hughes, and her mother was Elizabeth Ann (Eliza) Owens, nee Fox. She was a R.Catholic, so surely she is buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery, New Stevenston? Can anybody find her for me, or her relatives? Any help would be greatly appreciated!?

Hi Matthew
As your gr great granny died in 1941, this is far too late for the grave stone to appear in any MI books or similar, which usually cut-off around 1855. Maybe try:
here

Best wishes
