This book contains (from page 989), lists of Teachers, Apprentice Teachers, Training College Students, Schools, and Exam Papers etc. for England, Scotland and Wales. I don’t know how complete the lists are meant to be but they would total many thousands.

It appears to have been an annual publication but not all years contain the lists mentioned. Those around 1000 pages probably do. One volume I saw had only every second page scanned almost the whole back half of the book, possibly because of risk of damage.

It’s a very difficult book to read online, much easier if you make the large download. Not sure how useful it is but may be for those with teachers in the family. I found my great-grandfather there in Odiham, Hants., so it looks promising.
