Hi Alan,
Glad to know you have been reading so many Welsh classics-- It's just a pity that we can't post sound files on the forum, because I'd like to hear you say it! (occupational weakness, sorry).
Cheers,
Sarah

Re: Reading and Understanding a Death Certificate
Hello Sarah,
I’ve been reading lots of Welsh classics, but even with the help of Google Translator, it takes me forever to figure out what they’re on about. And then another one turns up.
I’m prepared to have a go at the verbal if I’m allowed to mumble, but not in public.
All the best,
Alan

Okay, we'll have to save that for my next trip to Australia (although I suppose one can't have a 'next' trip if one hasn't had a previous one... but whatever)Currie wrote: I’m prepared to have a go at the verbal if I’m allowed to mumble, but not in public.
In the meantime I'll be practicing too.

Re: Reading and Understanding a Death Certificate
I found your link whilst researching my family and although it was posted ages ago I thought I'd make contact as Harrriet is the daughter of my Great Great Great Grandmother's (Charlotte Stirton) brother. George was born in Spittalfield, nr Caputh, Perthshire to James Stirton and Helen Webster. My family stayed in the Caputh area, my father being born near to there in 1926 and just moving down to England following WW2 where myself and my sisters were born.
