I still have most of the info, Wills and other documents.
I have a strong hint that my real line will connect eventually.
But I quickly became stuck with the real line.
Only reached my GGGG Grandparents marriage in 1803, a long way from the 1600s.

I might have done a similar thing with my 5x-ggrandfather's parentage. I can't for the life of me find the proof I thought I would have had before entering them into my tree. I am gobsmacked that I did this. I can only assume it was early enough in my research that I didn't know better...but then why haven't I found this probable error until now?

I might make a post about this a bit later....
