Thanks Andrew. There's no confusion here ... the address on the Census form is clearly 34 Linthouse Buildings, Govan, Lanark. But this was 1881. What period are you referring to? Possibly there have been some changes since the 1880s. All help welcome. Cheers, Tony
Am researching the family for a possible book later this year. They migrated from South Wales to Lanark in the 1870s - why? They had two children and returned to Wales why? They lived in Linthouse Buildings, Govan. I am trying to find out more.
